When we are done with our phone, we may lock it manually or we may not.
In case we don’t, our phones will often do this for us.
The question is, how long will it take for your phone to lock itself automatically?
When you use the iPhone you can change this feature called auto-lock.
You can set the auto-lock from 30 seconds to never.
Of course, you do not want to select never.
I suggest to choose 3o seconds or 1 minute.
When you forget to lock your device, you do not want to your phone to keep lighting up.
Your phone will love it though, it teases you to come back for it.
Are you really sure you’re done with me? I’m still ready so what are you waiting for!?
Nevertheless, your phone’s battery won’t be happy though!
What’s important here, is that if you’re not used to lock your phone manually, you want to set the auto-lock in such a way that your device will lock itself quickly.
Let your iPhone dim the screen fast so you won’t see any possible notifications coming in.
You won’t see all those colorful apps staring at you when you put the phone back on the table in front of you.
Change the auto-lock to 1 minute or even 30 seconds and allow your phone some rest as well.
