Move Your Apps Far Away From Your Home Screen

It’s hard to delete apps.

That’s why this is often not the first strategy I recommend.

Some apps you really should remove asap (game apps!), some you will want to remove (certain social media apps), but some apps are just too necessary and can’t be deleted according to most phone users.

Of course, I’m talking about IM apps.

Whether you should delete apps or not is a story for another time.

For now, just focus on the apps you really want to keep on your phone.

Apps you want to use less.

What you simply do, is to move distracting apps to a screen far away from the home screen.

And no, I’m not talking about the 2nd or 3rd screen, but something like the 5th or 6th screen.

Move apps far far away from your truly important apps.

Allow yourself to lose a few nanoseconds to find a distracting app.

You know what, why don’t you move each distracting app in a separate folder?

Then you give each folder the exact same name!

Make it more complicated for yourself….give yourself a very good reason to open a distracting app!

Don’t cheat by using the search bar and make sure Siri App suggestions are disabled!

At least you can keep your apps, just make the process of opening your popular apps more challenging.

During the process of swiping to the 6th screen, you will remember again why you have moved the app so far away.

This means you will purposefully go for that app if you wish to do so.
